Independent Contractor
LLC Program

Worth It.

We understand that CEO's and business owners want to find ways
to save their company money without sacrificing high-quality service or products and the happiness and retention of employees. That's why we created our "Independent Contractor LLC Program". Worth it.

How does our program save your company money? Watch our video.

Client Testimonial: "The Goosmann Law Firm is all in when it comes to their legal work and innovative way of thinking.  They have not only helped protect our company from liability, they have also saved us money.  How many lawyers do you know where you can say that?! Our Independent Driver LLC Program has been a huge hit among our executives and drivers.  We save dollars on liability insurance and the drivers have pride in knowing they own their own business.  The Goosmann team has a smooth streamlined process while working with our drivers that ensures our company and our drivers are well taken care of.   This is the way to go for any business both big and small in a high-liability industry.  I would recommend their services to any CEO looking to save their company money."

- Brad Pinchuk, President & CEO at Hirschbach Motor Lines Inc.

How Does It Work?
What steps are included in the program and what does it look like for my employees?  Below is a sample of what your company's landing page will include. Each step is customizable and can be adjusted to meet the needs of your team.

1. Goosmann Law Firm can produce a video that outlines the Independent Contractor Program and how it works.

2. Review the legal packet.  These documents will actually form the independent contractor's new company.  Here is a general sample of what it may look like.

3. The independent contractor can decide on a name for their new company.  Their company name must be appropriate (no foul language) and must be different from other company names in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota, depending on the chosen state.  They can enter their proposed company name by clicking the buttons below, and see if there are other names similar to their name.  If they have a question about whether their proposed name is available, they can call the Secretary of State to confirm their name is available. Otherwise, they can choose a different name.

4. Final Step - When they are ready to form their new company, the independent contractor will click the button below to download the fillable form. Type in the answers on the fillable form. Hit print. Then sign and hand it in to their Training Facilitator. The Training Facilitator will send it to us and we’ll form their company! This process can be customized to best meet the needs of your company and staff making it as streamlined and smooth as possible. Pricing will be filled in on your company’s forms based on the volume and agreement between our two companies.

DISCLAIMER:  Whether or not someone is an employee or independent contractor is determined by legal analysis.  Contact your attorney to analyze your unique situation.  One factor in determining their status is whether or not the person is a company.  Having the person form their own company can help establish them as an independent contractor.
